Welcome to our launch
NotesBeforeYouVote.com is a short video series and companion site devoted to a few very important things. The future of the America we live in will be determined by how we vote on Tuesday, Nov. 5. This site is not intended just to preach to the choir of those already intent on voting for the Harris/Walz ticket and other Democratic candidates. Our videos and other content are also especially meant to reach out to:
1) Undecided voters; 2) People thinking of sitting out the election or protesting by not voting; 3) Folks thinking of voting third party; 4) People in Trump-supporting households and communities whose conscience steers them away from voting for Donald Trump and who can follow their hearts and minds in the privacy of the voting booth.

Not voting is itself a vote and an action that can lead to some very unhappy outcomes — and “demobilization” to get people sick and cut-off from politics is also a favorite trick of autocrats and wannabe dictorats, as Ruth Ben-Ghiat, a history professor with a speciality in the uses of propganda and the rise of authoritarianism and fascism, notes.
